Outdoor reading is flashing or showing dashes
No outdoor sensor reception
Put put the main unit and outdoor sensor together, and then press and hold the "▲/CH" button for 5–6 seconds to reconnect the sensor. If the issue can not be solved, please try to restore factory settings.
RCC function does not work
Put to the the main unit close to the window or take it to outdoor to enhance the signal reception.
Inaccurate temperature/humidity
When the temperature/humidity is inaccurate, it is often due to the location of the display or overpowered/under powered batteries. You can test the accuracy at you home.
Side-by-side test: Bring the sensor in the house and place it next to the weather station for 2 hours.
- Temperature: Compare indoor and outdoor temperature. The temperature should be within 2℃ to be within tolerance.
- Humidity: Compare indoor and outdoor humidity. The temperature should be within 5%RH to be within tolerance.
Inaccurate weather forecast
The weather forecast is an estimate or generalization of weather changes in the next 12 to 24 hours, with an accuracy rate of about 70–75%. It is simply a tool for projecting weather conditions and is never to be relied upon as an accurate method to predict weather.
